Annual Conference 2009

Three days of presentations by nationally-recognized speakers and home health experts, along with educational seminars and networking, highlighted PHA's 38th Annual Conference & Exhibition which was held May 27-29 at the Penn Stater Conference Center. More than 250 members, exhibitors and presenters were in attendance including a large number of first-time attendees.

New this year were special concurrent session tracks for home health, private duty and hospice that tackled topics ranging from homecare's role in chronic care management and bioethics in hospice to accreditation and licensure. A number of general sessions featuring CNN's Paul Begala, Disney's Doug Lipp and home health expert Bob Fazzi were attended by all registrants.
