Stephen Tweed, CEO, Leading Home Care

Private pay in-home personal care is the fastest growing segment of healthcare in America. More than 26,000 companies are providing assistance with activities of daily living for hundreds of thousands of seniors and adults with disabilities. Private pay homecare is also an exceptional opportunity to grow a company, earn a comfortable living, and make a difference in the lives of consumers and caregivers. In this interactive presentation, national expert Stephen Tweed will stimulate your thinking about the possibilities as an owner in private pay homecare by sharing the seven lessons learned from working with the top-tier companies in this industry.

Webinar 2: Expanding Services with Specialized Care
Pattie Rodgers, Vice President & Director of Operations, Waverly Care Associates

In 2016, the state issued a new policy expanding the types of non-skilled services/activities that can be performed by direct care workers to assist seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. These caregivers can now assist with medications, basic wound care, ostomy care, skin care and other tasks. Hear how several agencies have put this policy into practice to better serve the needs of their consumers. Presenters will discuss real-life, practical ways to implement the new services and provide sample policies for agencies to customize.
