PHA is hosting two regulatory summits this fall for clinicians to connect one-on-one with CGS to learn about the latest home health and hospice "hot topics" first-hand.

The first session will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the PHA office, 600 N. 12th Street, Suite 200, Lemoyne. Click here to register. Annette Lee, RN, MS, HCS-D, COS-C, will lead the discussion and provide an overview of the CGS medical review programs for home health and hospice, including the current widespread edits, the review process, coverage guidelines, documentation and the home health physical therapy local coverage determination (LCD) and the hospice local coverage determination (LCD) for terminal prognosis.
The session will also include a review of the most frequent home health and hospice denials and how to avoid them.
