Find Your 'OASIS' in the Desert of Data Collection

With new and ever-changing data collection rules and conventions, collecting OASIS-C data accurately can sometimes feel like searching for an OASIS in the desert! Now field data collectors and supervisors can spend two intense and fun days learning all there is to know about collecting the OASIS-C accurately with PHA's Blueprint for OASIS Accuracy Workshop.

Blueprint for OASIS Accuracy 2012 will be held Oct. 29-30 at the Penn Stater Conference Center in State College. The Certificate for OASIS exam will be offered the following day on Oct. 31. Attendees will receive 13 CEs upon completion of the workshop.

This training is critical to all home health agencies to ensure proper reimbursement. Rather than provide opinions, assumptions or unfounded interpretation, instructions will provide up-to-the-minute education on what information is available and what questions remain unanswered.

Cost is $500 per person for PHA members and $1,000 for non-members. The cost for the exam is a separate fee. A discounted overnight room rate of $115 is available by calling the Penn Stater at 1-800-233-7505 by Friday, Sept. 28. You must reference the code OASJ12A to receive the discounted rate.
