2022-2023 Hospice Survey Preparedness Education Series

PHA is pleased to offer hospice providers a nine-session series on hospice survey preparedness, in conjunction with the three primary hospice and home health accreditors, ACHC, CHAP, and The Joint Commission. Each session will focus on a specific preparedness area and will include a review of case scenarios and best practice examples.

Registration will be offered on a rolling basis throughout the series. Attendees who register after the series begins will receive recordings to live sessions they missed. All attendees can access recordings for six months after each session ends.


  • November 7, 2022 – The Initial and Comprehensive Assessment and Drug Profile (42 CFR 418.54)
  • December 5, 2022 – IDG, Plan of Care and Coordination of Services (42 CFR 418.56)
  • February 6, 2023 – QAPI (42 CFR 418.58)
  • March 6, 2023  – Clinical Records (42 CFR 418.104)
  • April 3, 2023 – Infection Control (42 CFR 418.60)
  • May 1, 2023 – Emergency Preparedness (42 CFR 418.113)
  • June 5, 2023 – Aide Services and Aide Supervision (42 CFR 418.76)
  • August 7, 2023 – Volunteers (42 CFR 418.78)
  • October 2, 2023 – Care Provided in SNF/NF or ICF/IID (42 CFR 418.112)

Registration includes unlimited staff participation at your location. Staff members who participate in any or all sessions will have the opportunity to earn CE credit.

Continuing Education

The complete Hospice Survey Preparedness Series is eligible for 9.0 Nurse Contact Hours.

Cancellation Policy: Due to a partnership with other organizations to host this event, we are unable to provide refunds or invoice adjustments for series registrations.
Please note that your organization will have access to the live webinar and the recording for 6 months after each session ends. Your staff can attend live in a group setting (with required sign-in sheet for CEs) or remote through their individual devices. Any staff member that can verify live attendance through the sign in sheet process or through their individual device attendee report in Zoom and completes each course evaluation will be eligible for nurse contact hours.
