Pediatric home health providers are invited to a special meeting with Leesa Allen, Deputy Secretary for the Office of Medical Assistance Programs. Leesa will address the new process for managed care organizations (MCOs) to report missed shift data to the department monthly rather than quarterly. She has also been asked to discuss the state’s plans for electronic visit verification (EVV) in light of the Congressional mandate to implement EVV by 2019, the status of the value-based purchasing requirements under the latest HealthChoices contract awards and the results of the University of Pittsburgh’s study of pediatric shift nursing.

Lunch will be provided and there will be an open discussion of pediatric issues as well as next steps for the $5/hour rate increase for providers following Leesa's presentation.
