Now that the Department of Health has issued the Policy Guidelines for permitting home care aides to perform services previously reserved for nurses, it’s time to check in and see what agencies are doing to comply with the training and competency requirements when it comes to aides performing such tasks as wound care and medication compliance. 

Join us for a conference call on April 19, at 10 a.m. to review the Policy Guidance and to share helpful tools that have been developed by PHA as well as to hear from providers who have implemented policies around the new guidelines.  There is no charge for this call however you MUST register.  This is ONLY for PHA member agencies therefore we are asking agencies to not distribute the call-in number to non-members.  Call-in numbers will be sent once your registration is received.
