There is an impending need and an opportunity for Home Care agencies to provide education to their caregivers who assist people with dementia to help them maintain their current level of function in the home setting.

Individuals with Dementia lose independence due to the progressive neurological deterioration of the disease. There are numerous strategies that can be employed to help the client with Dementia to live at least restrictive level of care, improve quality of life, and delay placement.

This credit must be used within one year of the date of issue on educational programming. Credit will not be accepted for membership dues or PHA’s Annual Conference. No credit will be given for no-shows or cancellations on the DAY OF or following the event/workshop. Substitutions are permitted up to the day of the event.
