U.S. Department of Labor/Wage Hour Division: Fair Labor Standards Act in the Home Care Industry

Presenter: Mallory Cooper-Kreidler, Planning Review Officer, US Department of Labor
Mallory Cooper-Kreidler is a native of Northeastern Pennsylvania and currently serves as the Planning and Review Officer for the Wage and Hour Division’s Northeast Region.  Mallory began her career with WHD in 2012 as a Wage Hour Assistant in the Wilkes-Barre, PA District Office.  She went on to serve as a Wage Hour Technician, Investigator, and Community Outreach and Resource Planning Specialist in Wilkes-Barre.  In 2021, Mallory was promoted to the position of Planning and Review Officer for the Northeast Region. Mallory has also served on several regional and national strategic enforcement teams.  She has been the recipient of three Secretary’s Exceptional Achievement Awards and received the Excellence in Leadership Award in 2019.
Presenter: Francesca de Roca, Community Outreach and Resource Planning SpecialistUS Department of Labor
Francesca de Roca currently serves as the Community Outreach and Resource Planning Specialist for the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage Hour Division’s Wilkes-Barre, PA District Office.  Francesca began her career with the Wage Hour Division in 2014 as an investigator in the Philadelphia, PA District Office.  During her time as an investigator, she recovered more than $1.6 million in back wages for over 1,500 employees.  Francesca was also responsible for training and mentoring new investigators in the office.  She has been the recipient of many Secretary’s Exceptional Achievement Awards and received a personal appreciation letter from the Secretary of Labor for her hard work and dedication to the agency.  In 2021, Francesca was promoted to the community outreach position.

If the notice of cancellation is received PRIOR to the day of the event/workshop, PHA will provide a credit, minus a 30% administrative fee. This credit must be used within one year of the date of issue on educational programming. Credit will not be accepted for membership dues or PHA’s Annual Conference. No credit will be given for no-shows or cancellations on the DAY OF or following the event/workshop. Substitutions are permitted up to the day of the event.
